Young engineers will be challenged to design and build a speedy car in our LEGO Car Exhibit.  They will have fun while learning about the different forces at work to make cars go faster or slower as they race their friends down the  4-lane ramp.  A built-in step allows younger children to reach the slope with ease and safety. Built to Universal Design Standards by Carnegie Science Center.

Extensions

  • Maker connection: encourage kids to design, create, and experiment with cars and ramps of their own making
  • Science connection: predict and chart which cars are fastest and slowest.
